You have as many exits as your plan allows: what the ForestVPN message cp.exit_limit means, why it appears and what to do about it.
Updated October 11, 2026
The app says: "You already have as many exits as your plan allows."
What it means
Turning this device into an exit would pass the number of exits an account can have. Every plan, Free included, allows 10.
What to do
Turn off an existing exit first.
Why it happens
Each account has a limit on exits, so one account does not carry more than it should.
Where you see it
The apps that have the private network show this message, on the Devices and Locations screens. The code is cp.exit_limit.
