The tunnel core is a fork of open-source code. This is the license that covers it.

forestvpn-quantum, the code that runs the tunnel, started as a fork of an existing open-source implementation released under the BSD 3-Clause license below. Everything added since the fork — the parts described on the product page — is layered around an unmodified handshake, under that same license.

Everything this core depends on

The Linux package carries the full generated notice for every open-source dependency inside itself, at /usr/share/doc/forestvpn-quantum/copyright — that list runs to tens of thousands of lines, which is why it ships with the package rather than on this page. What's above is the one license that governs the fork itself.
