Google Play on the TV. It is the same listing as the Android phone app.
Permission
Android asks once to allow a VPN connection. Allow it, or ForestVPN cannot connect.

    Open Google Play on the TV

    Search for ForestVPN by Digital Services LLC.

  2. 02

    Install the app

    Select Install. It is free to start; Premium is optional.

  3. 03

    Allow the VPN connection

    The first time you connect, Android asks you to allow a VPN connection. Allow it.

    Press Connect

    Open ForestVPN and press Connect. Free needs no sign-up, no email and no password.

  2. 02

    Choose a location

    Pick where you want to appear from the location list. Premium unlocks more of it.

  3. 03

    Use the same Premium elsewhere

    On another device, enter your account number to sign in. Restore on a new device explains it.

Is it free?
Yes to start. The Free plan allows 2 GB per connection and 5 connections a day, with no sign-up. Premium is optional and bought through Google Play or on the web.
Is this a different app from Android?
No. Android TV and the Android phone app share one Google Play listing and one purchase.
Do I need an account?
Not to connect. If you buy Premium, you get a 32-character account number that signs you in on your other devices. Keep it safe: we cannot recover it for you.
