Boo is the AI presenter of ForestVPN's videos. This page says who Boo is and how the videos are made.
What Boo is
Boo (ბუ) means “owl” in Georgian. Boo is ForestVPN's AI presenter for its videos.
Boo is an AI character: the face and the voice are generated with AI tools and do not belong to a real person. Boo is not a person and not an employee of ForestVPN, has no home, past or experience of using a VPN, and never claims any of them.
The face is made with Google Gemini 3 Pro Image (gemini-3-pro-image) and the voice with ElevenLabs Voice Design (eleven_multilingual_ttv_v2) and the eleven_multilingual_v2 speech model. There is no animation: Boo appears in still images only.
How the videos are made
The scripts are written and checked by the ForestVPN editors, from our own product documentation. Boo says only what they have approved.
Where a platform has its own AI label, we switch it on.
What Boo never does
- Claims to be human, or to have a body, a home, a past or a job.
- Claims to use or to have tried ForestVPN, or gives a testimonial.
- Appears in paid ads, or anywhere except ForestVPN's own accounts and this website.
- Talks about politics, elections or wars.
- Names a competitor, or comments on another company's breach.
- Addresses or shows children.
- Goes live, improvises, replies to comments or messages as Boo, or says anything the editors have not approved.
